The 2023 draft pick and minor league infielder was recognized for an impressive display of power this week

Several Seattle Mariners prospects have been putting getting extra work in the Arizona Fall League.

Outfielder Jonny Farmelo was named a standout performer from the first week of the AFL. Infielder Charlie Pagliarini was also recently recognized in a recent story from MLB.com's Jim Callis.

In the story, Callis comprised the top hitters of Week 3 of the Arizona Fall League (AFL) in exit velocity, average exit velocity and longest home runs.

Mariners infielder Charlie Pagliarini, who's competing for the Peoria Javelinas, is one of the team's prospects that's competing in the AFL, and he had one of the farthest-hit balls of Week 3.

Pagliarini hit a 450-foot, two-run homer against the Trenton Thunder on Oct. 26. That bomb was the fourth-farthest-hit homer of the week.

Entering Wednesday, Pagliarini has scored seven runs in 10 AFL games and has hit three doubles, a triple and a homer with five RBIs. He's slashed .333/.419/.556 with a .975 OPS.

Pagliarini was selected in the 19th round of the 2023 MLB Draft out of Fairfield. He's progressed slowly but consistently through Seattle's minor league system since he was drafted.

Pagliarini made his debut in the Arizona Complex League in 2023, played all of 2024 with the Single-A Modesto Nuts and played all of 2025 with the High-A Everett AquaSox.

While with the AquaSox, the 24-year-old Pagliarini scored 68 runs in 116 games and hit 24 doubles, four triples and 21 home runs with 62 RBIs. He slashed .224/.349/.451 with an .800 OPS. His home runs, RBIs and games played were all single-season career-highs. Pagliarini has had an OPS of .800 or better every single year since he made his pro debut.

Pagliarini won a California League championship with Modesto in 2024 and the Northwest League championship with Everett in 2025.
