The Texas Rangers managed just two hits while striking out 12 times against the Milwaukee Brewers.

Back-to-back losses against the Chicago White Sox didn't set them up for success against the team with the best record in all of baseball, and that was telling in the series opener.
The Milwaukee Brewers came out on top, 6-1, in a game that saw Logan Henderson pitch a seven-inning, one-hit gem.
While that lone hit was a Danny Jansen solo home run, that really proves just how little the Rangers were able to do against him.
In total, the Rangers had just two hits in this game, something that is simply inexcusable from a team that is trying to win their division.
Rangers only record two hits vs. Brewers
To make matters even worse, the only other hit they had in this game was when Justin Foscue came in as a pinch hitter.
Foscue, 27, got a hit off Brewers reliever Aaron Ashby in the eighth inning. In that same inning, Cody Freeman drew the Rangers' lone walk of the night.
It was an uneventful night, to say the least, and it was one that saw Milwaukee strike out 12 Texas batters.
While the Rangers offense was far from great, three of the four pitchers they used would give up earned runs, and it's worth noting the only pitcher that didn't, Tyler Alexander, only came in to record one out.
Thankfully for the Rangers, they have two more chances to take down the 84-51 Brewers, but to say things didn't go their way in the series opener would be an understatement.
Cody Bradford struggled big time
To no surprise, Bradford took the loss in this one as he's now 0-3 this season. He couldn't quite make it six innings as he reached 100 pitches through 5.2 in an outing that saw him allow nine hits, though he was only responsible for three of the team's six earned runs.
All six runs were earned, but one of the most astonishing statistics from the night is that not only did Bradford not record a strikeout, but the Rangers only struck out two Brewers batters all night.
That's not a winning recipe, to say the least, especially knowing they walked double the number of batters (four) that they struck out.
Winning the American League West is still a possibility, but it's games like these that really put things into perspective, if the last two days hadn't already.
