Grady Emerson to the White Sox in latest mock

The Athletics' Keith Law just dropped his first mock draft for the 2026 MLB Draft, and he has the White Sox going with high school shortstop Grady Emerson with the number one overall pick.

This is obviously a pretty hot topic among White Sox fans right now, but I personally believe that all of this talk and all of the rumors that the White Sox will take Emerson or potentially another player is just a negotiating tactic from the team to get Cholowsky at the best price possible.

Roch is still the pick, in my opinion. Always has been.
