Crazy context for Colson Montgomery

Colson Montgomery has been getting a lot of hate recently for how he's performed with runners in scoring position, and there's definitely some merit to that.

But there's important context with Colson that needs to be discussed as well, which is just how good he's been in the power department since getting called up.

Montgomery hit his first MLB home run on July 22, 2025, and ever since then, there's only one player in Major League Baseball who has more home runs than him. That's Kyle Schwarber.

So while he definitely has areas to grow, he's still very young and still an elite player at what he does best.
