White Sox right-handed pitcher Wikelman González was removed from Tuesday's spring training game by trainers.

Did not look great in the moment. González was in clear discomfort, looked over, spoke to trainers, and then removed from the game. Could have been a precursor of a major IL stint.

Luckily, the White Sox say that González is dealing with lower back tightness and will be day-to-day moving forward. We've seen day-to-day injuries turn into multiple-week injuries already in spring training, but even if he misses a few weeks, I don't think it affects whether or not he's going to make the team because I think he's on the outside looking in for the active roster anyways.

I'm just happy it's not an arm injury.
