Which teams have an outside shot at Giannis?
The Milwaukee Bucks are staring down the biggest summer in franchise history, and the rest of the league sees it.
A 32-50 finish and another early playoff exit have left the front office quietly working the phones on Giannis Antetokounmpo for months now, and the noise only gets louder the closer the NBA Draft gets.
Every contender wants a shot at the two-time MVP.

On a recent podcast, Haynes walked through where things stood and then left everyone hanging with one last line.
"New York was a big key player [for Giannis], and so we'll see how they finish out this season and they can still be in the mix as well," Haynes said. "So there's still a lot to get through with Giannis. And I do think maybe I'll talk about, tomorrow maybe, a mystery team out there."
That tease is what set everyone off, mostly because the suitors we already know about have been named so many times that none of them would qualify as a shock.
Who the Mystery Team Could Be
The Knicks finished 53-29 and are still alive in the postseason, so Haynes keeping them around tracks with the rumors Giannis has been tied to since last offseason.
Miami at 43-39 and Minnesota at 49-33 have been floated forever, and Boston at 56-26 keeps coming up too, though ESPN's Brian Windhorst threw plenty of cold water on those whispers.
The team I keep circling back to is the one nobody's loud about, and that's Portland.
Marc Stein reported the Trail Blazers are expected to push hard, and a deal there would reunite Giannis with Damian Lillard and Jrue Holiday while sending Milwaukee a stack of young talent and picks.
Cleveland belongs in the conversation as well.

Why Milwaukee Would Listen
It mostly comes down to timing.

When he was healthy he still played like a superstar, averaging 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists in a year cut short by injury, and there's a real chance his value never climbs higher than where it sits today.
A quiet suitor that nobody else is bidding against hands Milwaukee the one thing it's short on, which is leverage, and every extra team in the room nudges the return up.
