This offseason, the Milwaukee Bucks saw a lot of changes to their roster because of the decision to trade former franchise cornerstone Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat. It's clear the Bucks front office wanted a full reset after letting Giannis go, and the roster is much younger. 

Still, the Bucks have players on their roster who are looking to prove their worth as a long-term piece for the franchise. One player they got back from the Giannis deal is Tyler Herro, who was one of the focal points on the Miami Heat roster. 

Herro is coming off a season in which he averaged 20.5 points per game, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.1 assists. Just two seasons ago, he was named to the All-Star team, and after being traded, he could be someone who has a chip on his shoulder to prove he's a true number one option. 

Bleacher Report's Zach Buckley recently came out with bold predictions for each team's best new weapon, and he believes Tyler Herro will earn his second career All-Star selection in his first year with the Bucks. 

Buckley went on to mention the amount of opportunities Herro will get to control the ball and be as productive as he can. With the Eastern Conference getting new talent over the offseason, Herro could still be in good shape to make the All-Star game because Milwaukee will need him to be the offensive leader. 

A lot of the conversation around Tyler Herro has to do with the question of whether or not he's a true first option on a winning team. Many compared him to his former teammate Bam Adebayo and debated who was more responsible for the team's success, but the Heat decided it was better to pair Bam with Giannis. 

One factor that has held Herro back in his career has been injuries. Tyler Herro has had recent season where he has not been so available because he's been hurt, and this past season he only played in 33 games. 

If Tyler Herro can stay healthy, his ceiling is very high and he could have one of his best years given the circumstances. He's also paired with Kel'el Ware and Jaime Jaquez Jr. who were also brought over from Miami. He will likely play a lot of minutes alongside them and that continuity can help Herro moving forward. 

If Taylor Jenkins and the Bucks coaching staff can put things in place for Tyler Herro to succeed, Herro could be in for his best individual season in the NBA so far.
