The Chicago Bulls are in the market for shooting, and they'll have the opportunity to work out one of last season's best collegiate sharpshooters this training camp.

According to the league transaction wire via RealGM and Spotrac, the Bulls are signing former Miami (OH) guard Peter Suder to an Exhibit 10 contract. The deal will allow Suder to spend training camp with the team and compete for Chicago's final two-way contract spot.

Former Alabama point guard Houston Mallette is also reportedly joining the Bulls on an Exhibit 10 contract. The two will look to join former Providence guard Jaylin Sellers and former Arizona forward Tobe Awaka as Chicago's third and final two-way player.

Suder, who turned 23 in July, went undrafted this summer and joined the Los Angeles Lakers on a two-way contract. He made six Summer League appearances for the Lakers, averaging 5.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game while shooting 33.3% from the floor and 4-of-18 from deep. Suder was waived on July 21 so that Los Angeles could sign Arthur Kaluma, the former Texas forward who dominated the Summer League.

Despite Suder's shooting struggles, the Carmel, Ind., native was a viable threat from deep over his four years in college. After two years at Bellarmine, Suder transferred to Miami (OH), where he averaged 13.7 points per game and raised his three-point accuracy from 24.0% to 35.1%.

As a senior last season, Suder averaged a career-best 14.8 points per game and shot 42.1% from beyond the arc. He led the RedHawks in scoring and powered the program to a nearly flawless 32-2 record, which included an 18-0 mark in MAC play. Miami (OH) reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2006-07 and won a March Madness game for the first time since 1998-99, beating SMU in the First Four before falling to Tennessee.

Suder was named the MAC Player of the Year this spring and earned First Team All-MAC honors for the second year in a row.

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound guard will look to provide much-needed shooting to the Bulls' roster. Bryson Graham has been adamant that he is not worried about his team's lack of shooting, but personnel questions remain. Suder could be the answer, if he manages to replicate his collegiate success.

Chicago is set to begin training camp on Tuesday, Sep. 28, and will host the Phoenix Suns for their first preseason action on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
