The New York Knicks could be without Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart against the Phoenix Suns.

The New York Knicks try to snap a two-game losing streak when they welcome the Phoenix Suns to Madison Square Garden. 

The Knicks return home after a four-game West Coast road trip, where they went 1-3. They are coming off a loss to the Golden State Warriors, falling 126-113 in the game. 

The Suns are also on a two-game slide with back-to-back losses to the Miami Heat and Detroit Pistons to begin their East Coast trip. They are on the third game of six straight on the road. 

This is the second meeting between the two teams. The Suns defeated the Knicks 112-107 on January 9th.

New York Knicks Injury Report

The Knicks could be without star guard Jalen Brunson, who is listed as QUESTIONABLE with a right ankle sprain. Brunson played just five minutes against the Sacramento Kings on January 14 before leaving with an injury. 

He did not play against the Warriors on January 15. He's missed just four games all season. 

Brunson is putting up All-Star numbers, averaging 28.2 points and 6.1 assists on 48% shooting from the field and 38% from three. 

The Knicks could also be without Josh Hart, who is also QUESTIONABLE with right ankle soreness. Hart missed eight games from December 27th to January 9th with an ankle injury. 

He's been back for three straight contests, including the Knicks most recent game against the Warriors. His minutes have increased with each game back, and he logged 37 minutes against Golden State, finishing with five points, five rebounds, and 10 assists in the loss. 

Trey Jemison III is listed as OUT due to G-League assignment. 

Phoenix Suns Injury Report

While the Knicks might be without Brunson, the Suns could be without their star guard as Devin Booker is listed as QUESTIONABLE with a left ankle sprain. 

Booker did not play in the Suns' last contest against the Detroit Pistons. He's missed just four games all season. 

Booker is averaging 25.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 6.5 assists on 45% from the field and 30% from three in 37 games this year. 

Jordan Goodwin is AVAILABLE for the Suns with a jaw sprain. He will be sporting a mask in the contest. Goodwin played 31 minutes against the Pistons, finishing with seven points, 12 rebounds, three assists, and three steals. 

Jamaree Bouyea is OUT as he's in concussion protocol. Hehas not played since January 4. Jalen Green remains OUT with a right hamstring strain. He's played in just two games this season, and there is no timetable for his return.
