The Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks will play on schedule. Here's where to watch.
The east coast bomb cyclone covered Brooklyn in snow.
But Barclays Center should be nice and toasty -- plus ready to welcome the Dallas Mavericks and the home team Brooklyn Nets.
The Mavs-Nets contest faced postponement amid the fierce storm that pummeled down the Atlantic shoreline and stretched inland. Both teams looked ready to experience flight delays and the possibility of having the game moved to another date and time.
But that won't be the case -- as Mavs vs. Nets will still tipoff at 7:30 p.m. ET inside the Nets' home arena.
With the snow starting to dissipate and the game now moving on as scheduled, where can fans tune in?
Once again the YES Network is the home of all things Brooklyn Nets. Fans, more so on the side of the Mavs, also have the NBA League Pass option featuring the premium ($114.99 with no commercials and more in-arena access) and standard ($79.99 with commercials) available to them.
Nets fans can feel some relief in knowing that their team can be aired at the scheduled time. But they likely are also hoping there's no repeat of the last fourth quarter performance.
The Atlanta Hawks outscored the Nets with an astonishing 24-2 run in the final eight minutes of the Sunday contest to prevail 115-104. It added to a litany of fourth quarter collapses on the side of Brooklyn -- though this one featured a more astonishing run on the side of the opponent.
The Nets hit another season-low too before that fourth quarter meltdown, settling for only 10 second quarter points in the Friday loss to Oklahoma City.
Now Brooklyn continues to hear rampant chatter about landing the potential top pick on May 10 when the league conducts its annual NBA Draft Lottery pairings. The Sacramento Kings remain the front runner to land the top pick in the draft while Brooklyn remains projected to fall at No. 3 at the highest.
A loss will further increase the Nets' chances of potentially moving up or even earning the top pick in the draft. Now there's the belief that Cameron Boozer of Duke looks more like a fit for the Nets after dominating the No. 1 team in the nation Michigan on Saturday.
Meanwhile, will Dallas be the dominant one in this matchup?
FanDuel Sports Book lists the Mavs as the favorite -- but at 1.5-points. This looks like a game the Nets can win, barring a final quarter collapse.
