With two full days of rest, the San Antonio Spurs will return to their home court on Saturday to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves in a Halloween matchup.

The Wolves got off to a three-game winning streak to start the season, although they lost Anthony Edwards for a prolonged time with a knee injury, kicking off a bit of a skid. The NBA has seen an injury epidemic take off this year, and Edwards was one of its first victims.

In seasons past, Victor Wembanyama wore elaborate costumes to Halloween games, including Slenderman and No Face. He hinted at having plans for Saturday, although fans will have to wait for the Spurs' tunnel entrance.

Before tipoff, we have you covered with everything you need to know, from betting odds to TV info, and injury reports for both squads.

Last season, the Spurs went 1-2 against Minnesota before the playoffs, where they sent the Wolves packing in six games. In that series, Victor Wembanyama was ejected for elbowing Naz Reid in the face.

Reid has since been traded to the Charlotte Hornets, and the Wolves have added LaMelo Ball, although Wembanyama is expected to remain tough and downright mean.

"I would still like to see Victor play a little mean," said Shaquille O'Neal after the Spurs beat the Utah Jazz in overtime. "He had 36 and 14 tonight. That was a really good game for him, but I would love to see him play a little meaner.”

Jaden McDaniels has gotten into it with the Spurs before, De'Aaron Fox has taken pride in his instigation tactics this season, and Wemby has a history with the Wolves, so O'Neal might get his wish. Even with Edwards out, expect this to be a hard-fought, even game that could very well be a Western Conference Finals preview.
