Thursday marks the first of two games against the Pacers inside Capital One Arena in as many days with all eyes on the rest of the roster as they look to capitalize on expanded roles.

This will also mark the first game that Alondes Williams, who was signed to a ten-day contract earlier this week and is now in line to make his first NBA appearance since the 2024-25 season.

But similar to prior to the All Star break, Washington will have several inactive on Thursday night including Alex Sarr, who remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. Washington will also be without Anthony Davis and Trae Young as they stay patient with their recovery process, while D'Angelo Russell remains sidelined with his status with the team still unresolved less than 24 hours away from tipoff.

Indiana, meanwhile, will have multiple starters sidelined with Johnny Furphy joining Obi Toppin, Pascal Siakam and Tyrese Haliburton on the inactive list. The Pacers also enters tipoff with several players with other designations as Quenton Jackson, TJ McConnell, Aaron Nesmith and Micah Potter are all listed as questionable heading into Thursday. Ethan Thompson is ruled probable heading into Thursday.

Thursday's first of two games against the Pacers could also prove to be consequential in the race for the top overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft with both the Pacers and Wizards exiting the All Star break inside the top five with Indiana at four and Washington at two behind Sacramento, who will now be without two starters the rest of the 2025-26 season.
