The Washington Wizards have formally announced their full roster for the upcoming 2026 Summer League
While the bulk of the Summer League schedule was previously set, the Washington Wizards have now finalized the roster with games set to kick off this week and TJ Sorrentine set to serve as the Summer League head coach.
Forward AJ Dybantsa: the top overall pick will make his unofficial debut with game one against the Utah Jazz and Darryn Peterson, marking a matchup between the top two picks in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Guard Tre Johnson: the former sixth pick in last year's draft, Johnson will look ahead at putting a complete season together after flashing in the first half then struggling to find that same touch over the final two months of the season, including shooting 12-of-51 from three over his final nine games.
Forward Felix Okpara: the Wizards entered the second round with a pair of picks -- 51st and 60th overall -- but ultimately packaged them to send to the Orlando Magic to acquire the draft rights of the former Tennessee forward. He'll look to show off his defensive presence and rim protection while proving his fit in the pick-and-roll.
Forward/Center Julian Reese: the success story to end the 2025-26 regular season after being signed from the Toronto Raptors G League affiliate, how Reese builds on a rookie year that ended in a double-double stat line -- 11.8 points, 10.5 rebounds -- will tell the tale for year two. The likely two-way player now steps into a frontcourt that returns Alex Sarr and added Deandre Ayton to pave the way for the University of Maryland product to become the third center in the rotation, but summer league will be the next test for the 6-foot-9 big.
Guard Kadary Richmond: the St. John's product scored 25 points across his three games for the Wizards in 2025-26, primarily sticking with the Capital City Go-Go where he averaged 13 points in nearly 28 minutes during the regular season.
Forward Will Riley: after spending time with the Go-Go through the first half of the year, Will Riley then translated that scoring success to the Wizards where he became the bright spot through the second half of the year with eight 20-point games and two 30-point games over the final five weeks of the regular season. The Illinois product could be the X-factor in the rotation next year even in a loaded wing room, making Summer League a chance to showcase his year two development.
Guard Jamir Watkins: a quick resolution was agreed to for Watkins after becoming one of three two-way players, giving arguably the team's second-best returning defender a chance to carve out a role in a deeper rotation in year two. With room to grow offensively, Summer League offers a chance for Watkins to prove exactly that.
Guard/Forward Leaky Black: the UNC product started in nine of his 15 appearances in 2025-26 and averaged 7.1 points on 48.1% shooting from the field and 45% from three.
Auburn forward Keshawn Murphy: arriving on an Exhibit 10 deal, Murphy averaged 10.7 points and 6.8 rebounds at Auburn in 2025-26.
Cal Forward John Camden: after inking with the team as an undrafted free agent, the transfer forward will look to showcase himself as an inside-out scorer after shooting over 44% from the field and nearly eclipsed 40% three point shooting for his third consecutive season.
UNC Guard Seth Trimble: one of two UNC products on the roster, Trimble agreed to a deal to join the Wizards' Summer League roster. As a senior with the Tar Heels, Trimble averaged 14 points, 3.8 rebounds and three assists while shooting over 47% from the field.
G League Guard Reece Beekman: as a 2x All-ACC guard out of University of Virginia, Beekman worked his way up to the NBA with the Golden State Warriors and Brooklyn Nets. However, Beekman would ultimately be sent down to the G-League after joining the Orlando Magic organization. Beekman now has another opportunity to make a name for himself, this time in summer league with Washington.
German Center Norris Agbakoko: a 7-foot-2 center from Bremen, Germany is an extremely intriguing player to take a swing on. Last season in the BBL, Agbakoko averaged 8.5 PPG and 4.6 RPG.
FAU/Xavier Forward Tre Carroll: after putting together an extremely impressive campaign at Xavier University averaging 17.8 PPG on 50.1% FG, Carroll has gotten a chance to make the NBA through summer league. Carroll played a part in Florida Atlantic University's historical 2023 Final Four run.
Go-Go Forward Chris Livingston: another Capital City Go-Go development project makes the summer league roster. As Livingston was a former five-star recruit, it makes you wonder if he could ever reach his potential.
Go-Go Guard Damari Monsanto: a crafty 6'6" guard, Monsanto will have another opportunity to showcase his talents. Monsanto played in only four games for the Capital City Go-Go last season, but averaged 6.3 PPG on 42.9% FG and 43.8% from beyond the arc.
G League Guard RJ Nembhard Jr.: older brother of Andrew Nembhard, RJ is trying to find his way to the NBA. However, at 27 years old the clock is ticking for Nembhard Jr. He hasn't played in the NBA since the 2021-22 season.
