On the next episode of the DC Roundtable Podcast hosted by Tyler Lochte and Ahmed Ghafir diving into the Washington Wizards, we dive into the shift from the offseason to preseason after the team hosted media day on Monday ahead of the start of training camp on Tuesday.

First, we dive into the training camp additions to the roster after the Wizards announced the addition of four Exhibit 10 signings now competing for the final roster spot with Chris Livingston, Steve Settle III, Trevor Keels and Reece Beekman officially part of the organization. The quartet of additions are part of the 21-man roster the Wizards officially unveiled on Sunday evening with Felix Okpara and Jamir Watkins joining the rest of the 15 man roster. Is there one ahead of the rest for the last spot? Can Beekman officially stick with the Wizards after sticking out in Summer League? While there are no surprises from the primary 15-man roster, we give our take on how it could shake out and what to watch ahead of the start of training camp.

The Wizards also hosted its annual preseason media day on Monday with head coach Brian Keefe and 12 of the 15 players on the standard roster fielding questions ahead of the first practice.

With the Wizards looking to change the narrative around the league behind a revamped roster, the messaging was clear that changes to how the team plays will come to fruition. That includes the commitment to defense, a message that general manager Will Dawkins made clear was a priority ahead of opening night. The Wizards also see the revamped roster adding complementary talent to the roster with several players pointing to the added length, size and versatility available at head coach Brian Keefe's disposal. There was also gains as we dive into the main takeaways to know.
