The Gators still have a lot to play for the rest of the season.

The Florida Gators will enter the upcoming week with a record of 5-3 on the season, coming off a tough loss to the Georgia Bulldogs.

But even with the three losses on the year, the Gators have remained in the top-25 of the rankings. Florida has some impressive wins on the resume, and it seems that it has helped them stay alive, even if barely.

In the first edition of the College Football Playoff rankings, Florida came in ranked at No. 24, showing the faith that the committee has in this team. The Gators are on thin ice when it comes to be ranked with the three losses, however, and if they were to drop another game, it would send them out.

But for now, Florida is still alive in the top-25, even if it could be very tough to actually get into the College Football Playoff. No team has ever made the playoff with three losses, and the Gators will hope that they can win out to make it happen.
