No. 22 Florida State soccer tied Louisville 0-0 on Sunday, September 27, at Dr. Mark and Cindy Lynn Stadium in Louisville KY.
With the tie Florida State is now 4-1-3 overall, and 0-0-2 in the ACC this season. Florida State was outshot by Louisville 9-3, and Louisville dominated in corner kicks, 8-2. This was a physical matchup that resulted in both teams committing nine fouls each. Not only did the two defenses each pitch a shutout, but there was only one shot on goal each for both teams.
Shaneil Buckley had two shots for Florida State, including the lone shot on goal for the Seminoles. Buckley, a junior midfielder, has four shots on goal this season. Buckley's shot didn't come until the 73rd minute of the game.
Goalkeeper Kate Ockene made a save on the single shot on goal attempt made by Louisville. Ockene now has eight clean sheets in her career, and three for the season.
Janet Ockene led a defensive charge in the final third of the game when Louisville was awarded three corner kicks in a late rally attempt. Ockene made her lone save of the game in the 81st minute as part of the late rally.

Leib has been Rookie of the Week, as well as ACC Offensive Player of the Week. The forward/midfielder had four goals, three assists, and 11 total points last season.
