The Seminoles have their sights set on landing a possible newcomer here.

Florida State basketball lost two players already to the transfer portal. But now appears to be in the running to land a talent out of the Southeastern Conference.

Anthony Robinson II from Missouri rose as a FSU portal target, per Noles247Sports. He happens to have a connection to the Seminoles: Tallahassee is his home.

He's leaving the Tigers after averaging 8.9 points per game. He also collected 3.1 rebounds and dished out three assists a night. Mizzou handed him an average of 27.1 minutes per night.

FSU head coach Luke Loucks could be landing a 3-point marksman here. Robinson II once shot 40% from behind the arc as a sophomore. He's leaving Missouri following his junior season.

But offense isn't his only strength.

" He is viewed as a high-level defender," Chris Nee of Noles247 wrote.

Nee adds that FSU will face competition for Robinson, notably from in-state rival Miami "and likely several others."

Robinson attended Florida State University School during his prep career. The 6-foot-3, 155-pounder became a three-star prospect by 247Sports and was the nation's No. 20 overall point guard for his graduation class of 2023. Robinson also surfaced as Florida's No. 13 overall talent for the '23 cycle.

FSU did offer him while he was in high school, but that was before Luke Loucks took over as head coach. Virginia Tech and Auburn (the latter coached by Bruce Pearl) also extended offers to Robinson. He ultimately chose the Tigers and SEC basketball.

Florida State must find a replacement for two guards: Cam Miles and Martin Somerville, the latter exiting on Tuesday.

He's not the only known collegiate target on the FSU transfer radar.

Nee adds that junior college forward LeAno Rolle has received interest from the Noles. Rolle stars for Summit (Miss.) Southwest Mississippi Community College. He stands at 6-foot-7, 175-pounds.

FSU will have plenty of talent to sift through when it comes to building via the transfer portal.

One of the more highly intriguing entries is another local product: Wes Enis, who starred for South Florida and guided the Bulls to a March Madness run. It's not known if Enis and his agency have expressed interest in Florida State.

Enis is on a "do not contact" tag in the portal, which means only he and his agent can initiate conversations with schools first. Still, Enis is expected to be highly coveted in the portal and fits the guard-heavy attack FSU rolled out through Loucks.
