Florida State made a strong impression on one highly touted defender during the Seminoles' recruiting weekend -- sparking theories of a flip attempt.

Florida State pulled in two past College Football Playoff representatives in running back Quintrevion Wisner and edge rusher Rylan Kennedy

Now the Seminoles are eyeing a defender committed to one of the 2025 CFP teams.

FSU hosted a big recruiting weekend after wrapping up the first January transfer portal cycle. Alabama edge rusher commit Jabarrius Garror came all the way from Mobile, Ala., to visit FSU.

Turns out he loved roaming around the FSU facility, per a conversation he had with Chris Nee of 247Sports

"I love Florida State," Garror said to Nee. "Just the people in the building, it is the same thing honestly. I love Coach Norvell. Coach Nick [Williams], I just met him today. They are great people. That is why I keep coming back."

The last part revealed Garror has taken multiple trips to Tallahassee. Even as a current Crimson Tide pledge.

He also embraced the talk he had with the edge rusher coach Williams -- who help land Kennedy out of Texas A&M in the portal.

"He is real high-level guy, high IQ," Garror said. "He knows what he is talking about. I feel like he can get me to the league and get me to where I am trying to go. He is a great person in general, too."

Garror, who stands at 6-foot-2, 215-pounds, witnessed the energy but also the genuine side he brings.

"Just meeting him, that really was like a big push towards Florida State for me because it is somebody that is just like me, my position, edge, and I feel like I understood him today," he added on Williams. "Talking to him, he is a nice, genuine guy."

Garror hinted to Nee that a summer visit could be in the works.

"Just the people. I feel like I can be developed at FSU. The background history of the d-ends and linebackers that they've had, guys like Brian Burns, that is the top guy that I love watching. I try to play just like him. I feel like if I come to the school that he was at, that is going to be my best chance," Garror said. "I love Florida State, too."

He remains committed to Alabama -- but his words now applies pressure to Kalen DeBoer and the Tide coaching staff to keep him.

Florida State would siphon a four-star talent if Norvell, Williams and other members of the 'Noles coaching staff complete the flip.

Garror wasn't the only notable four-star visitor. Oregon commit Cameron Pritchett also visited the 'Noles.
