The Georgia Bulldogs look like they will land this 2028 prospect over another top program.

The Georgia Bulldogs are moving through their regular season and continuing to scale things up as they push for a much deeper run in the postseason than they have had the last few years.

While the focus from fans is of course on the field, the coaching staff is attempting also to lock up some elite names in the class of 2028 to continue the success of the program both now and in the years ahead. Georgia has had some elite visitors to campus this fall to check out one of the best environments in college football, and it seems like it's working to their favor.

One offensive tackle who is being pursued by just about every program in the nation due to his massive size seems to like the Bulldogs more than anyone else, and it resulted in a projection being logged for Georgia. According to Chad Simmons and Steve Wiltfong of Rivals, the Dawgs have received an official prediction to land Franklin, Tennessee's (Battle Ground Academy) huge offensive tackle Koehn Dial.

Georgia Predicted to Land Koehn Dial Over Ohio State, Tennessee

Simmons wrote that it has been the Bulldogs talking with Dial more so than any other program, and even though Tennessee and Ohio State as well as Oklahoma are pursuing him, Georgia is the team to beat here.

It will not just be these three giving the Bulldogs trouble to try to land his signature either, this will be a guy that most programs in the nation are going after. Ahead of official visit season though this spring, it sounds like Georgia will go into it with a major leg up over its rivals to try to land Dial.

Between the relentless pursuit from the Bulldogs as well as an excellent fit, this feels like a natural commitment for Kirby Smart.

What Kind of Skillset Dial Would Bring to Georgia

Standing at 6-foot-8 and weighing just a hair under 300 pounds only as a high school junior, Dial is a big-framed tackle who absolutely mauls people at the high school level for a prestigious Battle Ground Academy program.

Currently, he is rated as just the No. 15 prospect in the state of Tennessee and the No. 26 offensive tackle while also being a top-300 player overall in the nation, but if he continues to ascend, he could rise a whole lot higher than that by the time he is ready to make any sort of final decision.

Keep an eye on the Bulldogs here as the team to beat over the course of the next year for Dial.
