Kansas basketball has made another huge offer in the 2028 class.
The program recently offered five-star power forward Benjamin Berrouet, who currently attends Dynamic Prep High School in Dallas, TX.
Houston and Texas are among the favorites to acquire him. 247Sports ranks him the No. 1 player nationally at his position and the No. 3 overall player in the state of Texas.
"After a conversation with Coach Vaughn, I am blessed to receive a Division 1 offer from University of Kansas," Berrouet tweeted Thursday afternoon.
KANSAS AMONG FAVORITES TO LAND FIVE-STAR 2027 CLASS FORWARD
Kansas basketball might be hauling in another major prospect soon.
Five-star small forward Malachi Jordan has narrowed his top eight schools, with Kansas among them. Among the others in the mix are Tennessee, USC, and Alabama. Jordan currently attends Prolific Prep High School in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and is part of the 2027 class.
The Jayhawks offered him last September, and he's slated to visit the team in mid-September this year.
The program's recent history of acquiring high-ranked players should give fans confidence in bringing in another home-run hitter. Over the past two seasons, Kansas has ushered in big names like Darryn Peterson, Tyran Stokes, and Taylen Kinney. Peterson ended up as the second overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft and was largely considered the top option until a few months before Draft Day.
