Memphis has flipped three-star wide receiver Aubrey Johnson after hosting the 2027 recruit on an official visit over the weekend. Johnson was committed to American Conference foe Florida Atlantic, but on Sunday, he posted a commitment to the Tigers on X.

The wide receiver didn’t post anything on social media about visiting Memphis, but according to Rivals, Johnson was on campus this weekend with six other recruits for an official visit.

The receiver is ranked as a three-star recruit by Rivals, but neither ESPN nor 247Sports have him ranked. Johnson is ranked as the No. 156 player in Texas and the No. 162 wide receiver in the class of 2027.

Johnson helped lead North Shore High School to a 6A D1 State Championship last season in Texas. Johnson stands 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, and he was named one of the top 25 most exciting players in the area.
