Miami Hurricanes' star playmaker Malachi Toney adds JPMorgan Chase to growing portfolio while dismantling program records and cementing an elite status as a frontrunner for the Heisman Trophy.

MIAMI, Fla. – Ahead of facing UNC on Saturday night at Chapel Hill (NC), Miami Hurricanes star wide receiver Malachi Toney has reportedly signed an N.I.L. deal with JPMorgan Chase, according to On3.

It's the third one this season for the 19-year-old, along with Red Bull and Adidas, before the new Nike contract agreement was officially announced.

JPMorgan Chase was founded in 1799 as New York City's first water company. According to its history site, the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, was a customer, starting in 1853. It's listed one of the biggest banks in the nation currently.

Toney is on pace to surpass last season's historic production with higher efficiency. He currently leads the Football Bowl Subdivision with 66 catches for 952 yards while scoring 11 total touchdowns – all in just seven games. Toney has broken a couple of extra Hurricanes records, but there are more on the brink of being rewritten.

In a 45-6 win over Standard in the season opener, the Liberty City (Fla.) native finished with 234 yards on 12 catches while scoring three touchdowns. Every time Toney found the end zone, he hit the Heisman Trophy pose. The performance broke Eddie Brown's 42-year-old record for the most receiving yards in a single game, previously 220 against Boston College in 1984.

Toney's Heisman Trophy campaign was only getting started from the first snap of the season.

In last Saturday's 52-23 win over Pitt, the electrifying playmaker caught 16 passes for 194 yards while scoring three touchdowns. It's a new program record for the most receptions in a single game.

Toney continues to redefine the Hurricanes' history, as more will likely come this season. He is five touchdowns short of tying Pro Football Hall of Famer and 1987 National Champion Michael Irvin for the program's all-time record. As there are four games remaining on the regular-season schedule following the Tar Heels matchup, Toney has a strong chance to claim it before the College Football Playoffs.

As the Hurricanes remain undefeated (7-0 overall; ACC 5-0), the former three-star recruit has played a significant role in the latest success. Toney is on pace to be one of four finalists to receive an invitation to New York City (NY) for the Heisman Trophy ceremony.

Kickoff against UNC is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. E.T. and will be televised on ABC.
