The Oregon Ducks and head coach Dan Lanning will have an important month of recruiting ahead of them this offseason.
The Oregon Ducks and head coach Dan Lanning continue to make serious noise throughout the 2027 recruiting class.
After hosting a slew of top-tier targets during this month, the Ducks currently possess a total of 13 commits heading into the summer. This includes multiple four-star prospects in safety Semaj Stanford and EDGE Rashad Streets, who are two of the highest-rated commits in the class. Now, with the month of June around the corner, it’s time to look at some of the top prospects that are set to visit Eugene.
Here are all the Ducks’ targets to keep an eye on during the program’s recruiting run in the month of June.
June 5th Visits
To kick off the month, the Ducks are set to host five recruits on the first weekend, with a pair of four-star prospects in athlete Bode Sparrow and wide receiver Julius Jones being the top names out of the bunch.
Sparrow, who many insiders predict will commit to Oklahoma, will be fresh off his visit with the Sooners. The talented safety is currently the No. 1 prospect in the state of Utah, but with his slight lean towards the SEC powerhouse, it’s clear that Lanning and the coaching staff must impress him during his visit to Eugene.
As for Jones, the consensus top-10 prospect out of the state of Florida is currently projected to sign with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, making the first batch of visitors an important group for the Ducks. If Lanning and the coaching staff can somehow sway either prospect to Oregon, it would set the program up for future success for the rest of the month.
June 12th Visits
While Sparrow and Jones are the main prospects to keep an eye on at the beginning of the month, Oregon will have plenty of targets in the building during its second round of visits in June.
Out of the 10 prospects scheduled to make an official visit on Jun 12, the most notiable names are two five-stars in defensive lineman Marcus Fakatou and cornerback Hayden Stepp. Both defensive playmakers are widely viewed as top-three recruits at their respective positions, and with both of their recruitments fully open, this is the perfect opportunity for Lanning to secure a five-star prospect in the 2027 class.
In addition to Fakatou and Stepp, four-star defensive lineman Kasi Currie will also be part of the mix. The California native has received mulitple crystal ball predictions for the Ohio State Buckeyes, which means the coaching staff must prevent the fellow Big 10 Conference member from landing the highly-touted lineman.
June 19th Visits
Looking ahead at the third round of visits next month, the Ducks will have 12 targets on campus on Jun 19, with five-star offensive lineman Ismael Camara being the highest-rated prospect out of the bunch.
Camara is one of the best recruits out of the state of Texas, and since Lanning has only secured two offensive tackles in the 2027 class, the elite lineman will be a key name to keep an eye on this month.
Also included in the mix is four-star cornerback and USC Trojans commit Danny Lang, as the Ducks will make one final effort for the California native in June.
