The Syracuse University men's basketball team picked up its third consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) win on Tuesday night, beating Florida State 94-86 at the JMA Wireless Dome.
The Orange are now 12-5 overall and 3-1 inside league play, while the Seminoles dropped to 7-10 and 0-4.
Here's what you need to know.
Three consecutive ACC games over 80 points for the Orange, who continue to play better and better on offense. Three different members of the Orange were in double-figures and the team shot a whopping 59 percent from the floor. They were also 42 percent from three-point range, another very solid number.
--Once again, Donnie Freeman played like a future first-team All-Conference player, scoring a game-high 25 points on 9-of-12 shooting. He was also a perfect 6-of-6 at the foul line and added seven rebounds. Beyond him, the Orange got 13 points from J.J. Starling and 18 points from Tyler Betsey, who hit six three-pointers off the bench.
--Syracuse out-rebounded the 'Noles by one, 33-32, and dished out 20 assists compared to 12. Both teams committed 14 turnovers.
--FSU led by as many as eight early, and Syracuse led by as many 10 early in the second half, but both teams were able to counter with runs of their own to keep the game close.
--Florida State got 20 points from Kobe MaGee, and three others were in double-figures.
--William Kyle led the way with nine rebounds for the Orange, and Naithan George had a game-high 13 assists. He added eight points.

It can't be overstated how vital Betsey's performance off the bench was. He scored 18 points on 6-of-9 shooting (6-of-8 from three-point range). For an Orange team that doesn't shoot the ball particularly consistently, he's the one guy who can truly light it up from deep. He played 22 minutes, perhaps forcing the hand of Adrian Autry to play him more.
The defense for the Orange has to be better than this. For as athletic as they are, the Orange can't be allowing winless league teams to score 86 points and shoot 47 percent from the floor and 40 percent (10-of-25) from three-point range. SU also gave up 15 offensive rebounds, which is generally unacceptable.
And once again we ask, where is Kiyan Anthony? The talented freshman played 18 minutes, which is more than he played against Pitt (10), but he's not being given as much of a chance to find a rhythm offensively.
The Orange will be on the road Saturday afternoon against Boston College (2 p.m. ET). The Eagles are also 0-4 in league play.
