The Orange now know their opponent and tip off time for next week's ACC tournament.

Head coach Adrian Autry with the media after SU's loss vs. Pitt.

The Syracuse University men's basketball team lost its regular season finale to the Pittsburgh Panthers 71-69 in overtime on Saturday afternoon at the JMA Wireless Dome.

The Orange finish the regular season at a disappointing 15-16 and 6-12 inside Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) play.

Naithan George led the way for the Orange with 26 points while Cameron Corhen had 21 for the Panthers.

Here's what you need to know:

Inside the numbers

--Syracuse trailed for most of the first half but was able to rally and take the lead 31-28 after 20 minutes of play.

--The Orange trailed by double-digits in the second-half after a 17-4 run out of the break, but were able to rally and force the game into overtime.

--George led the first-half scoring with 12 points, including nine points from the three- point line.

--Pittsburgh struggled shooting from beyond the arc, going just 2-of-14 from deep.

Seniors honored, including Nate Kingz

Four SU players were honored pregame before the final home game of their careers: William Kyle III, Syracuse native J.J. Starling, Bryce Zephir and Nate Kingz. Earlier this season, Kingz noted that he was open to returning to the program next season. Kingz' appearance as a part of the senior group may indicate that his future has already been decided.

Adrian Autry's final game as head coach?

If Syracuse loses in the first round of the ACC Tournament, the Orange will finish 15-17, giving the program just its sixth losing season in history. At this point, Autry's future is unclear. Barring a miracle title run, the Orange are set to miss the NCAA Tournament for the fifth straight season. Autry has been at the helm for three of those.

Earlier this week, Syracuse announced a new chancellor, which should help bring some clarity to the situation. A new athletic director also needs to be hired, and that situation is also coming into clearer focus as we learn more about the candidates.

Kiyan Anthony and Sadiq White injury status

Just hours before tipoff, freshman Kiyan Anthony was ruled out with a lower body injury. Sadiq White was ruled out with a shoulder injury closer to tip-off. Both players' status for next week's ACC tournament has still yet to be announced.

ACC Tournament seed and tip off time determined.

The ACC Tournament begins on Tuesday in Charlotte, N.C. The Orange are the No. 14 seed and will matchup that day with No. 11 SMU. In the lone matchup between the two teams earlier this season, Syracuse won 79-78 at the buzzer.

That game will tip-off at 4:30 p.m. ET. We'll have much more coverage throughout the next few days here at Syracuse Roundtable.
