TCU baseball brings a four-game winning streak into Tuesday’s home matchup with Lamar after sweeping Texas Tech and heating up at the plate.

TCU baseball heads into Tuesday night with momentum, power and a chance to keep building on one of its better stretches of the season.

The Horned Frogs return to Lupton Stadium to face Lamar after a statement weekend that ended with a sweep of Texas Tech and pushed their winning streak to four games.

That sweep gave TCU baseball a much-needed jolt. The Horned Frogs didn’t just win three games, they showed some late-game edge in the process, rallying for comeback victories in the final innings on both Saturday and Sunday. For a club still trying to sharpen its postseason profile, those kinds of wins matter.

Now TCU gets a midweek opportunity to keep that energy rolling.

The Horned Frogs are 17-10 overall and have been especially reliable in non-conference weekday games, posting a 5-1 record in midweeks this season.

At home, they’ve also been difficult to handle, going 12-3 at Lupton Stadium. That matters against a Lamar team arriving with confidence of its own after winning five of its last six games.

Still, the biggest story for TCU right now is the offense.

The Horned Frogs blasted 10 home runs in the Texas Tech series and have now hit 33 on the year. Sawyer Strosnider has been at the center of that surge, crushing six homers in his last eight games while driving in 21 runs over that same span.

Jack Bell has also been red hot, recording multi-hit games in four straight contests and hitting .588 during the current winning streak. Noah Franco, back in the lineup, added homers in consecutive games over the weekend.

TCU has also been winning in less flashy ways. The Horned Frogs lead the Big 12 in walks with 180 and have turned 25 double plays, another conference-best number.

Lamar enters 17-11 and has been solid on the mound, carrying a 4.85 team ERA while holding opponents to a .237 average. That gives this matchup some intrigue, especially since the Cardinals have won the last two meetings in the series.

But with the way TCU baseball is swinging it right now, the Horned Frogs will take the field expecting to stay hot and finish this homestand with another win.
