FORT WORTH - TCU baseball is back in Fort Worth this weekend with a chance to keep building momentum in Big 12 play as the Horned Frogs welcome Arizona to Lupton Stadium for a three-game conference series.
After taking a road series from Kansas State, TCU enters the weekend at 20-11 overall and 7-5 in the Big 12.

The Horned Frogs did stumble in a midweek trip to Abilene Christian, but they’ve still won two straight conference series and have been tough to beat at home.
That makes this Arizona series a big opportunity for Kirk Saarloos’ club to strengthen its standing in the league race and continue climbing in the postseason picture.
TCU baseball has shown a real knack for responding when things get uncomfortable.
The Frogs already own 12 comeback wins this season, including nine after falling behind by multiple runs. That resilience, paired with an offense that has started to show more pop, has helped TCU stay dangerous.
Over the last eight games, the Horned Frogs have launched 15 home runs, pushing their season total to 38.
Cole Cramer has been one of the biggest reasons for that offensive spark. He heads into the weekend on a nine-game hitting streak and is batting .465 during that stretch with 12 RBIs.
TCU has also continued to create pressure in patient ways, ranking among the national leaders in walks with 212. Defensively, the Frogs have been just as sharp, turning 33 double plays this season, a total that leads the Big 12.
Arizona arrives at 10-21 overall and 3-9 in conference play, though the Wildcats are coming off a convincing midweek win over New Mexico State.
Tony Lira leads Arizona with a .351 batting average, while Carson McEntire has supplied seven home runs and 24 RBIs.
Friday’s opener is set for 6 p.m. with Trever Baumler on the mound, followed by Lance Davis on Saturday and Zack James on Sunday.
