No. 4 TCU men’s tennis heads to Oklahoma State and Baylor needing two wins and some help to stay alive in the Big 12 title race.

FORT WORTH - No. 4 TCU men’s tennis is heading into a huge weekend with Big 12 title hopes still on the line.

The Horned Frogs travel to Oklahoma State on Thursday before closing the regular season Sunday at Baylor, giving David Roditi’s team two major road tests with conference stakes attached.

TCU enters the trip at 17-5 overall and 5-1 in Big 12 play, still very much in the hunt for a share of the league championship.

To get there, the Horned Frogs need to handle their own business against Oklahoma State and Baylor while also hoping Arizona slips up in one of its final matches.

That makes this one of the biggest weekends of the season for a TCU team that’s already been one of the nation’s most consistent programs.

The Horned Frogs have won four straight matches and nine of their last 10 since the start of March, with five of those victories coming against ranked opponents.

Their only setback during that stretch came at Arizona on March 22, when TCU was stretched thin during a demanding run of road matches.

There’s also plenty of history attached to Thursday’s stop in Stillwater.

It marks TCU’s first return to the site where the program captured the 2024 NCAA Championship, adding another layer to an already meaningful match.

The Frogs have dominated Oklahoma State lately, winning seven straight in the series and 15 of the last 16 meetings overall.

Baylor presents another serious challenge, even though TCU beat the Bears 4-1 earlier this season in Fort Worth.

The Horned Frogs have won 10 straight against their in-state rival, but Sunday’s matchup in Waco carries much more weight with the postseason approaching.

TCU’s depth remains one of its biggest strengths. Duncan Chan is ranked No. 6 nationally in singles, while Chan and Cosme Rolland de Ravel form the No. 1 doubles team in the country.

With a young roster and title pressure building, the Horned Frogs now get a chance to prove they’re ready for another postseason run.
