3-seed TCU earned a thrilling comeback win over 6-seed Washington on Sunday to advance to the Sweet 16. The Horned Frogs are now ready for more wild March matchups.

3-seed TCU had its hands full with 6-seed Washington in Sunday's NCAA Tournament Second Round matchup inside Fort Worth's Schollmaier Arena.

The Horned Frogs eventually staved off the upset-driven Huskies 62-59 in overtime to advance to the program's second-straight Sweet 16.

The hero for the purple and white was senior point guard Olivia Miles. She went for 18 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists against the Huskies fresh off a triple-double in her tournament debut with TCU one round earlier.

It wasn't all easy for Miles though, as she struggled in the first half before responding mightily in the second half.

She addressed these early-game woes and her resiliency following the victory.

"I owe it all to my teammates...I was angry, I was feeling all the emotions because I didn't want to go home," remarked Miles.

"I didn't want to let my team down and they were in my ear, 'Keep scoring, keep being aggressive'...It would be a disservice for me not to be resilient for them," she continued.

Her will-to-win paid off for the hometown Frogs in what would have been a potential devastating early tournament loss in front of their home crowd.

With the win, TCU closed the season perfect in the Scholl and will take an NCAA-leading 44-game home win streak into next season.

While their time at home is finished, the Horned Frogs hope to keep their season going long after Sunday's finale.

Third-year head Mark Campbell has led the team to its only Sweet 16 appearances and expressed excitement about another opportunity for a deep run.

"To get back to the Sweet 16, it's happened two times in the history of our school and it was this year and last year," Campbell said. "Both years we've been playing our best basketball in March."

"Winning in March is so stinking hard and I'm so thankful we get another 40 minutes together...I'm excited to get back to Sacramento, that's been a special place for our coaching staff," he finished.

As Campbell said, TCU is slotted into one of two regions bound for Sacramento in the Sweet 16. Their opponent is 10-seed Virginia, who is the only double-digit seed to advance to the second weekend.

The Horned Frogs will look to fend off another upset-minded foe in the Cavaliers when they step onto the court at Golden 1 Center on March 27.
