TCU quarterback Jaden Craig is already drawing 2027 NFL Draft attention after a record-setting Harvard career and move to Fort Worth.
TCU football may have landed more than a transfer quarterback.
The Horned Frogs may have brought in a legitimate 2027 NFL Draft riser.

Jaden Craig arrives in Fort Worth after a record-breaking run at Harvard, and he’s already being mentioned among quarterbacks NFL evaluators will be watching closely next season.
In a 2027 quarterback class expected to feature names like Texas’ Arch Manning and Oregon’s Dante Moore, Craig won’t have the same celebrity spotlight.
But he has something that matters just as much: production, polish and a skill set that fits what TCU wants to do offensively.
Craig nearly tested the NFL Draft waters after last season, and it’s not hard to see why.
He threw for 2,869 yards, 25 touchdowns and just seven interceptions at Harvard, finishing his Crimson career as the program’s all-time leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns.
That’s not a small-school fluke.
That’s a quarterback who handled responsibility, protected the football and consistently created through the air.
Now comes the bigger test.
TCU gives Craig a Power 4 platform, better week-to-week competition and an offense that should let him show whether his game can scale.
The Horned Frogs have long been comfortable pushing the ball downfield, and Craig’s high-arching release should fit nicely in a passing attack built around timing, touch and vertical layering.
That’s one of the more intriguing parts of this transfer. Craig isn’t just a checkdown manager coming from the Ivy League.
His passing profile suggests a quarterback who can throw over coverage, attack windows down the field and give receivers a chance to win in space.
Of course, NFL scouts will want answers.
Can he handle Big 12 speed? Can he speed up his processing against more athletic defenses? Can he take hits, manage chaos and still deliver when the pocket gets messy?
Those questions will decide whether Craig remains a developmental Day 3 type or climbs into a louder draft conversation.
But TCU gives him exactly what he needs: exposure.

If Craig produces in Fort Worth, he won’t be hidden anymore. He’ll be a former Ivy League star proving himself on a national stage, inside a conference where quarterback play gets attention fast.
The 2027 NFL Draft quarterback class is loaded. Craig is trying to crash the party.
