Cam Norrie, Jake Fearnley, Jack Pinnington and Reese Stalder give TCU men's tennis another massive Wimbledon moment in 2026.
TCU men’s tennis is taking over Wimbledon again, and at this point, it’s not a cute college-to-pro storyline anymore.
It’s a pipeline with teeth.
Four former Horned Frogs - Cam Norrie, Jake Fearnley, Jack Pinnington and Reese Stalder - are set to compete at The Championships, Wimbledon 2026, giving TCU one of the strongest college tennis footprints in the sport’s biggest event.
Norrie, Fearnley and Pinnington landed in the gentlemen’s singles main draw, while Stalder returns in doubles for his fourth straight Wimbledon appearance.
That’s not normal. That’s a program flex.
Norrie enters as the No. 26 seed and remains the headliner. The former three-time TCU All-American has built a serious Wimbledon résumé, including a 2022 semifinal run, two quarterfinal appearances and a 15-8 career record at the All England Club.
He’ll open against Michael Zheng, the 2024 and 2025 NCAA singles champion who fought through qualifying to make his Wimbledon main draw debut.
Fearnley and Pinnington, key pieces of TCU’s 2024 NCAA championship team, both earned singles wild cards.
Fearnley draws world No. 42 Alex Michelsen in a brutal opening test, while Pinnington gets 28th-seeded Brandon Nakashima. Pinnington already owns a Grand Slam breakthrough after beating Tomás Martín Etcheverry at Wimbledon last year.
Stalder, a 2017 doubles All-American, gives the Frogs another veteran presence at SW19. He reached the Wimbledon doubles Round of 16 in 2023 and continues to keep TCU’s name alive on the doubles side.
With three singles players in the main draw, TCU is tied with Stanford for the most of any college program. And with all four former Frogs ranked inside the ATP top 150, this isn’t nostalgia. It’s proof.
Wimbledon may belong to London, but lately, TCU keeps finding ways to make it feel a little like Fort Worth.
