TCU heads to Dallas Athletic Club chasing a Big 12 title behind a deep lineup, strong history, and standout play from Camille Min-Gaultier.
FORT WORTH - TCU women’s golf is back in the spotlight this week as the Horned Frogs head to the Big 12 Championship in Dallas with a real chance to make noise.
The three-day event begins Thursday at Dallas Athletic Club, where TCU will try to turn a strong season into a conference-title run against one of the toughest fields in college golf.
The Horned Frogs enter the tournament ranked No. 42 nationally and seeded 10th in a field loaded with top-100 programs.
That number, though, doesn’t tell the whole story. TCU has built a roster with experience, continuity, and proven production, and that combination gives coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin a team capable of climbing the leaderboard in a hurry.
A lot starts with Camille Min-Gaultier, who has been one of the most reliable players in the conference.
The reigning Big 12 Freshman of the Year leads TCU with a 71.8 scoring average, 84 birdies, and six top-10 finishes this season. She’s also been remarkably steady, finishing in the top 20 in 12 of her last 13 starts.
Sofia Barroso Sá gives TCU another proven championship performer. She tied for sixth at this event at Dallas Athletic Club in 2023 and followed that with another all-championship finish last season.
Her track record in conference play matters, especially on a course where experience can be a separator.
TCU’s lineup also features Kirstin Angosta, Gracie McGovern, and Sofie Dimitrova, giving the Frogs a balanced group with scoring depth.
McGovern ranks second on the team with a 73.5 scoring average, while Angosta has been a regular factor during the spring.
The program’s recent form adds even more intrigue. TCU set multiple school records this season, including a 289 team scoring average, and has shown a knack for finishing strong.
If the Horned Frogs carry that late-round momentum into Dallas, they could leave the metroplex with their best conference finish in years.
