The former Heisman winner blames Cleveland for his failed NFL career, vowing eternal animosity toward the franchise while claiming the organization failed to provide the tools he needed to succeed.
Former Texas A&M superstar Johnny Manziel is one of the most talked about quarterbacks in recent college football memory, but his career sort of fizzled out after he was drafted in 2014.
And he absolutely blames the Cleveland Browns for his unfortunate NFL career.
On a recent episode of the Nightcap podcast with Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson, Manziel talked about his distaste for the team that drafted him, and talked a but about his mindset when it comes to the Browns.
"I sit here today and I go back and forth," Manziel said. "Am I gonna let Cleveland off the hook... or am I gonna sit here with hate and animosity in my heart for the rest of my life."

From that statement alone, it sounds like Manziel wants to forgive his former team, but it only takes listening a few seconds longer to realize how the former Aggie actually feels.
"I finally sit here today... I think I'm gonna be pissed at them and hate them forever... No love for the Browns, I'm rooting for 0 and 16 seasons every season."
Well if there was any question about how Johnny Football felt about his former team, now we definitely know.
Cleveland drafted Manziel with the 22nd overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft after owner Jimmy Haslam expressed interest in drafting him, despite what some of the coaching staff thought.
This led to a bit of animosity on the sidelines, and if you ask Manziel, they did not give him much help on or off the field. The former Texas A&M star was known for his off-the-field antics, and he believes the organization should have given him more guidance to remedy that.
But that did not happen.
Manziel started in just eight games in his two-year career, and he went 2-6 in those games. He threw seven touchdowns while rushing for one, but he also threw seven interceptions, which makes for a less-than-desirable ratio.
Johnny Football had all of the talent in the world after becoming the first freshman to ever win the Heisman Trophy, and he remains one of the bigger what-ifs in sports as a result of that and his failed NFL career.
While he was not able to perform to everyone's expectations in the league, he is making sure to let everyone know he thinks the Browns were entirely at fault for that.
