Texas A&M offensive lineman Chase Bisontis landed with Arizona at No. 34, giving the Cardinals a versatile blocker for Jeremiyah Love.

Chase Bisontis had to wait one extra night, but the Texas A&M offensive lineman didn’t last long on Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Arizona Cardinals selected Bisontis with the No. 34 overall pick on Friday, adding a powerful and versatile blocker to an offense that already made a major first-round splash by taking running back Jeremiyah Love at No. 3 overall.

For Arizona, the plan is easy to understand. Draft the dynamic running back, then give him help up front.

Bisontis brings the Cardinals a 6-5, 315-pound lineman with three years of starting experience in the SEC.

He has faced high-end defensive fronts, handled pressure environments and shown the flexibility to play both guard and tackle.

That versatility likely made him even more appealing early in the second round. NFL teams value linemen who can cover multiple spots, and Bisontis gives Arizona options as it builds around its young offensive core.

Bisontis entered the draft process with some first-round buzz and was even viewed by oddsmakers as a strong candidate to go Thursday night.

Instead, he slipped just outside the opening round before Arizona grabbed him two picks into Round 2.

The selection is also another strong moment for Texas A&M, which continues to place high-end talent into the NFL.

Bisontis became one of the Aggies’ top draft names after developing into a dependable starter across three seasons.

Now his job is clear: help protect the quarterback and create lanes for Love, one of the most explosive offensive players in the class.

For the Cardinals, this pick isn’t flashy in the same way as Thursday’s running back selection. But it may be just as important.

Arizona is trying to build a tougher, more reliable offense, and Bisontis gives the Cardinals a serious piece up front.
