Texas A&M star K.C. Concepcion is rising into first-round range after a 919-yard, 9-TD season, with the Browns now linked at No. 24.
Texas A&M wide receiver K.C. Concepcion is picking up serious first-round NFL Draft buzz, and a new ESPN mock draft has the Aggies standout landing with the Cleveland Browns at No. 24 overall.
That projection makes plenty of sense after Concepcion turned in one of the most productive seasons in the SEC in 2025.
The former NC State transfer made an immediate impact in College Station, leading Texas A&M in receiving with 919 yards and nine touchdowns while averaging 15.1 yards per catch.
He also strengthened his draft profile at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine, where his versatility again stood out to evaluators looking for a dynamic slot weapon and instant special teams help.
ESPN’s Peter Schrager summed up the appeal this way: “Concepcion is a do-everything wideout who averaged 15.1 yards per catch in 2025 and can also be a key playmaker in the return game. I've had multiple sources compare Concepcion to Zay Flowers.
"New offensive coordinator Travis Switzer and new coach Todd Monken both had Flowers in Baltimore, and they could get creative with how they use Concepcion in this offense. I had the Browns going with an offensive tackle at No. 6, but they need a playmaker, too.”
The Zay Flowers comparison is easy to understand.
Concepcion wins with burst, polish and toughness, and he brings the kind of inside-out versatility NFL teams covet in today’s passing game.
For Cleveland, that could be especially attractive as the Browns continue reshaping their offense under Monken and Switzer.
Quarterback questions still hover over Cleveland, but adding a proven playmaker like Concepcion would give the offense more juice right away.
For Texas A&M coach Mike Elko, it would also be another major draft win after sending a nation-leading 13 Aggies to the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine.
