Myles Garrett’s Los Angeles arrival got the Dodger Stadium treatment as the Rams star fired a clean first pitch before Dodgers-Angels.

Myles Garrett’s Los Angeles Rams era already came with monster expectations. Now it comes with a clean first pitch, too.

The former Texas A&M star and reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year took the mound Saturday at Dodger Stadium before the Dodgers faced the Angels, putting a baseball-style stamp on one of the offseason’s biggest NFL moves.

Garrett was traded to the Rams in a blockbuster deal involving a player and multiple draft picks, instantly giving Los Angeles one of football’s most terrifying pass rushers.

But first, he had to survive the unofficial L.A. welcome test.

The ceremonial first pitch has humbled plenty of famous athletes over the years. Some spike it. Some sail it.

Some create clips that live forever for all the wrong reasons. Garrett avoided that mess completely, delivering a firm strike that had enough zip to draw attention from the broadcast.

For Rams fans, it was a fun first look at their new defensive centerpiece in local colors, even if he was standing on a baseball mound instead of exploding off the edge on Sundays.

For Texas A&M fans, it was another reminder that one of the greatest Aggies ever is still commanding big-stage moments.

The trade has already passed the official hurdles. Garrett cleared the medical process, did the press conference circuit and posed with the jersey.

Still, in a sports town like Los Angeles, tossing the first pitch at a Dodgers game feels like part of the initiation.

Garrett handled it like he handles offensive tackles ... no panic, no wasted motion, no embarrassment.

The Rams made the splashy move to chase another championship window. Garrett made sure his first public throw in L.A. didn’t become a meme.

That’s a strong start.
