No. 7 Texas A&M hosts No. 8 Auburn as the Aggies chase their sixth straight SEC series win.

The No. 7 Texas A&M Aggies baseball squad gets another major SEC test this weekend when No. 8 Auburn visits Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park for a top-10 showdown.

The Aggies enter the series at 34-8 overall and 14-6 in SEC play, looking for their sixth consecutive conference series victory.

Auburn comes to College Station at 30-13 and 12-9 in league play, making this one of the biggest matchups on the SEC schedule.

Texas A&M leads the all-time series 21-15 and won the most recent meeting, a 3-2 victory over Auburn in the 2025 SEC Tournament.

The Aggies will start Shane Sdao in Friday’s opener, while Aiden Sims gets the ball Saturday.

Sims has been one of the league’s most reliable SEC arms, with five conference wins tied for second in the league.

At the plate, Texas A&M has been one of the most dangerous lineups in the country.

In SEC games, the Aggies lead the league in runs with 175, home runs with 43, RBI with 163, slugging percentage at .537 and walks with 130.

Gavin Grahovac has been the engine. He carries a 17-game hitting streak overall and has hit safely in 13 straight SEC games.

During that 17-game run, Grahovac is batting .403 with 29 runs, 32 RBI and 12 home runs. In SEC play, he leads the conference in OPS at 1.246, slugging at .786, runs with 31 and RBI with 33.

Nationally, Texas A&M ranks inside the top 10 in on-base percentage, slugging, home runs and runs scored.

The pitching staff has also been sharp, ranking second in walks allowed per nine innings at 2.78.

Friday’s opener is set for 7 p.m. on SEC Network, with games Saturday and Sunday streaming on SEC Network+.
