Texas A&M and Oklahoma softball will now play twice Saturday at Davis Diamond after weather pushed Friday’s Game 2.

Texas A&M softball fans will get a Saturday double dose of top-ranked action at Davis Diamond.

Because of inclement weather, Friday’s Game 2 between No. 12 Texas A&M and No. 1 Oklahoma has been rescheduled for Saturday at 12:15 p.m.CT.

The series finale remains set for its original 4 p.m. Saturday start time, creating a huge day of SEC softball in College Station.

Friday’s game had originally been scheduled for 5 p.m., but weather forced the change. Fans who had tickets for Friday’s postponed matchup can use them for admission to the new 12:15 p.m. game Saturday.

The stadium will be cleared between games, so fans attending the 4 p.m. finale must have tickets for that contest. Those tickets remain valid for Game 3 as originally scheduled.

With several Texas A&M events happening around campus Saturday, fans are being encouraged to arrive early and plan ahead. Parking will be available for $5 with a softball game ticket until 4:30 p.m.

After 4:30 p.m., parking in Reed Arena lots will jump to $30 per vehicle because of the Savannah Bananas event also taking place in the area.

The schedule change adds even more drama to an already major weekend series. No. 12 Texas A&M gets two shots Saturday against No. 1 Oklahoma, while the Sooners will look to handle the quick turnaround in front of a packed Davis Diamond crowd.

For fans, the message is simple: bring the right ticket, arrive early and expect a busy day in Aggieland.
