Texas A&M is gaining momentum with five-star lineman Kennedy Brown as Mike Elko’s Aggies push to strengthen the nation’s top 2027 recruiting class.
Texas A&M football may be closing in on another massive recruiting win.

Brown has become one of the most important names on Texas A&M’s recruiting board, and the latest buzz points strongly toward College Station.
Rivals analysts Sam Spiegelman and Steve Wiltfong have both projected the Houston standout to land with the Aggies, a notable sign as Mike Elko’s staff keeps stacking momentum on the trail.
Brown is also scheduled to take an official visit to Texas A&M on June 5, which only adds to the sense that the Aggies are in a strong position.
That would be a huge get for a class that already has national attention.
Rivals currently lists Texas A&M as the No. 1 recruiting class in the country for 2027, giving the Aggies a strong foundation before summer visit season really heats up.
If Brown does choose Texas A&M, he’d give the Aggies another headline addition in the trenches and further strengthen a class that’s already loaded with star power.
Offensive line recruiting remains one of the clearest priorities for Elko’s staff, and landing a player of Brown’s caliber would send another message that the Aggies aren’t slowing down anytime soon.
For now, the recruitment isn’t over, but Texas A&M appears to have the edge. And in a battle this competitive, that’s a big place to be.
