No. 4 Texas meets No. 24 Ole Miss in the SEC Tournament as Madison Booker and Jordan Lee lead the Longhorns into a high-stakes showdown.

No. 4 Texas women’s basketball enters the SEC Tournament with momentum and a target on its back. The Longhorns will face No. 24 Ole Miss Saturday night in Greenville, South Carolina, with a spot in the next round of the conference tournament on the line.

Texas has been one of the most dominant teams in the country all season.

The Longhorns have stacked up wins with authority, going 24-1 in games decided by double digits while showcasing a balanced roster that thrives on both ends of the floor.

Leading the charge for Texas is Madison Booker, who has been nearly unstoppable during the closing stretch of the season.

Booker is averaging 17.0 points over the last 10 games while shooting an efficient 50.8 percent from the field, giving Texas a reliable scoring engine when the offense needs a spark.

Guard Jordan Lee adds another dynamic weapon. The sharpshooter averages 13.2 points per game and knocks down 2.0 3-pointers per contest, hitting 35.4 percent from beyond the arc while also contributing defensively with 1.7 steals per game.

Ole Miss enters the matchup with plenty of firepower of its own.

The Rebels are led by Cotie McMahon, who is putting together an impressive season while averaging 19.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game.

McMahon’s scoring ability has made her one of the SEC’s toughest offensive matchups.

Forward Latasha Lattimore has also been a key contributor, averaging 13.0 points and 7.7 rebounds over the last 10 games, providing Ole Miss with interior production and rebounding strength.

These teams already delivered one tight contest this season. Texas escaped with a 67-64 victory in January, with Lee scoring 17 points to lead the Longhorns.

The numbers suggest another competitive showdown could be coming.

Texas has been surging, winning nine of its last 10 games, while Ole Miss looks to regain consistency after a 4-6 stretch in its last 10 outings.

If the Longhorns can continue their defensive dominance - allowing just 56.2 points per game this season - they’ll have a strong chance to move one step closer to an SEC Tournament title.
