Texas football will host 2027 offensive lineman Caleb Siler for a key June official visit as Steve Sarkisian keeps building momentum.
Texas football is getting its shot to make a serious move with 2027 offensive lineman Caleb Siler, and this is exactly the kind of recruiting battle Steve Sarkisian loves.
Siler, a three-star prospect out of Gunter High School, has locked in an official visit to Austin from June 19-21.
That gives the Longhorns a prime chance to bring him to the Forty Acres, show off the program’s SEC vision and sell him on becoming part of one of the nastiest offensive line pipelines in college football.
This won’t be a quiet recruitment. According to 247Sports, Siler is ranked as the No. 75 offensive lineman in the 2027 class and the No. 122 player in Texas.
His offer list already has plenty of bite, with Florida State, UCLA, Baylor, Texas Tech, TCU and others involved.
Texas also won’t be the only school getting face time. Siler has visits lined up with Northwestern, TCU, Arkansas, South Carolina and Texas Tech, making this a real fight across multiple Power Four programs.
Still, the Longhorns have a strong pitch. Sarkisian’s staff has built a reputation for developing offensive linemen, and Texas’ move into the SEC only sharpens the sales job.
If Siler wants to test himself against elite defensive fronts while preparing for the next level, Austin is going to be tough to ignore.
The 2027 Texas recruiting class already has momentum, led by four-star commitments Easton Royal, Cameron Hall, Brock Williams, Derwin Field and Darwin James.
Three-star pledges Noah Roberts, JT Geraci, Cade Huag and Ty Knutson are also in the fold, helping Texas sit inside the top 20 nationally.
Now, Siler becomes another name to watch.
His June visit won’t decide everything, but it gives Texas a major opening to turn interest into something louder.
