Texas Tech star Bailey Maupin earned WBCA All-America honorable mention after a standout senior season that cemented her as one of the Lady Raiders’ best.

Bailey Maupin added another major achievement to her Texas Tech career on Thursday, earning WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches’ All-America honorable mention and giving the Lady Raiders senior one more national milestone before she leaves Lubbock.

The Texas Tech guard is also set to take part in the Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game on Saturday, another sign of how much respect she’s earned around women’s college basketball.

For Maupin, the honor caps a terrific 2025-26 season in which she once again carried a huge load for Texas Tech. She led the Lady Raiders in scoring at 15.2 points per game, knocked down 69 3-pointers, made 129 free throws and produced 29 double-digit scoring performances.

She also posted six games of at least 20 points while finishing second on the team with 89 assists and third with 53 steals.

Those numbers helped Maupin secure All-Big 12 First Team recognition, and not just barely.

She was one of only 10 unanimous selections on the first team, a strong statement about the season she put together in one of the nation’s toughest leagues.

Her biggest performance may have come on Jan. 7, when she scored 27 points in a road win over West Virginia. Maupin shot 8-of-15 from the field, hit four 3s and fueled one of Texas Tech’s best wins of the season.

That outing earned her Big 12 Player of the Week honors and national player of the week recognition from the USBWA.

Maupin’s career numbers tell the story of a player who leaves a lasting mark on the program. She finished with 1,825 career points, 199 made 3-pointers and a free-throw percentage of .835, all while climbing into the top 10 in multiple categories in the Texas Tech record book.

She arrived as a promising freshman. She leaves as one of the defining players of her era for Texas Tech women’s basketball.
