Texas Tech women’s golf is back in the NCAA postseason as a team.

Texas Tech is the No. 8 seed in a 12-team field led by top-seeded USC.
It’s a meaningful step for head coach JoJo Robertson’s program. This is Texas Tech’s 23rd NCAA regional appearance and its first team regional berth since 2023, when the Red Raiders were sent to Pullman.
Robertson has now guided Texas Tech to 13 regional appearances in 16 seasons.
The Red Raiders should bring postseason-tested players to Michigan. Lauren Zaretsky competed as an individual in the 2024 Las Vegas Regional, while Klara Hurtova represented Texas Tech at the 2025 Lubbock Regional.
Both are expected to be part of the Ann Arbor lineup.
Texas Tech enters the regional after finishing sixth at the Big 12 Championship, shooting 19-over with rounds of 301, 286 and 296 at Dallas Athletic Club.
The Ann Arbor field won’t be easy. USC headlines the bracket, while Duke, UCF, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Northwestern, Kansas, UNLV, Columbia, Quinnipiac, Oakland and Texas Tech round out the team competition. UCF and Kansas give the regional additional Big 12 flavor.
The stakes are simple ... finish in the top five and advance.
Six regional sites will be contested May 11-13, with 12 teams and six individuals at each location.
The top five teams from every regional will move on to the NCAA Championship Finals, set for May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
For Texas Tech, the assignment is challenging but clear. Three strong rounds in Ann Arbor could send the Red Raiders back to the national championship stage.
