Congratulations are in order for former University of Connecticut women's basketball standout Breanna Stewart, who moved into 12th place on the WNBA's all-time leading scorers list on Saturday.

With her bucket against the Minnesota Lynx, Stewart passed Sylvia Fowles for 12th all-time. She now has 6,416 career points.

A 10-year veteran, Stewart is one of the best players in league history. A seven-time All-Star, she's also a seven-time All-WNBA selection, a seven-time All-Defensive selection, two-time MVP, a Rookie of the Year winner and a three-time WNBA champion.

She's also a two-time WNBA Finals MVP. 

The all-time scoring list is flooded with Huskies greats, including Diana Taurasi (1st), Tina Charles (2nd), and Sue Bird (9th).

Stewart has played for both the Seattle Storm and the New York Liberty in her career.

Now 31 years old, Stewart is also one of the best players in Huskies history. A four-year standout, Stewart was a national champion in all four seasons. She was also a three-time All-American, a three-time AP Player of the Year, a three-time American Athletic Conference Player of the Year, and a three-time All-Region selection. She was the Most Outstanding Player of the NCAA Tournament in all four seasons and averaged 17.6 ppg for her career. She played for the Huskies during both the Big East and AAC years.

She became the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 draft of Seattle.

--The Major League Baseball Draft kicked off on Saturday (1 p.m. ET) in Philadelphia as a precursor to MLB's All-Star festivities. 

The draft has been shortened from 40 rounds to 20 rounds in recent years and is now a two-day event instead of three.

The first four rounds will happen on Saturday and rounds 5-20 will happen on Sunday.

Multiple Huskies baseball players have a chance to hear their names called over the weekend, but we took a look back at how many have been drafted in the past.

-- The UConn men's basketball team has made the first cut in the recruitment of five-star prospect Demarcus Henry, ranked by the 247Sports composite as the No. 1 wing and the No. 5 overall player in the Class of 2027.

Talking with his older brother and sister on The Henry Legacy podcast, which dropped Monday night, Henry announced the eight schools that will be moving on with him in his recruitment.

Huskies head coach Dan Hurley and his staff face competition from Arkansas, BYU, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, North Carolina and Ohio State.
