The Washington Huskies football team landed a major player this week when four-star Class of 2027 wide receiver and top 200 national player Tre Moore announced his commitment to the team.

In addition to earning a commitment from Moore, the Huskies also hosted several of their top recruiting candidates from May 29-31 for the first round of official visits.

One of the players on that visit, four-star wide receiver Dontay Tyson Jr., is set to announce his commitment during the second weekend of official visits, with Washington considered the heavy favorites.

The Huskies are set to host four-star safety/cornerback Jaden Walk-Green on June 5. This visit will come after Walk-Green rearranged his schedule to visit the UCLA Bruins this past weekend.

Walk-Green also visited the Vanderbilt Commodores on Monday and is set for additional visits to the Arizona State Sun Devils on June 12 and Kansas State Wildcats on June 16.

According to a report from Adam Gorney of Rivals.com, the Bruins made a great impression on Walk-Green in the official visit and is making a legitimate push for his recruitment.

However, Washington is still considered to be the favorites to land him.

Blair Angulo of 247Sports gave a Crystal Ball projection for the Huskies to land Walk-Green. Angulo is 24/24 on his Crystal Ball projections for Class of '27 recruits.

Rivals.com's prediction model has Washington as the heavy favorites to land the four-star defensive back with 89.9% odds.

Walk-Green is ranked as the 349th best overall player, 35th-best safety and 30th-best player in the state of California in the class, per the 247Sports composite.

Walk-Green attends Corona Centennial High School in Corona, Calif., and was a massive playmaker for the team in his junior season this past fall.

The 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back finished his 2025 season with 125 total tackles, including one tackle for loss, one pass breakup 10 interceptions and one fumble recovery. Walk-Green had five pick sixes and one fumble returned for a touchdown.

In addition to his playmaking ability on the football team, he also plays baseball. The UW baseball team is also involved in his recruitment and has reportedly extended him an offer, which would give him the ability to contribute on the gridiron and the diamond for the Huskies.

Per Gorney's report, Walk-Green will make his commitment after his current scheduled visits, which would place his college decision somewhere in the final two weeks of June.
