Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen has been putting on a show this season.
Buffalo Bills star quarterback Josh Allen remains one of the most special players in the entire NFL.
After another strong outing against the Los Angeles Rams, Allen has entered in the conversation for the NFL MVP award this season. Allen will be trying to land another MVP on his resume, but all the veteran signal-caller really cares about is winning games.
The Bills have consistently been a top team in the AFC, only to see the team falter come playoff time. But with new head coach Joe Brady in the mix now, there seems to be a different feel to this team.
Buffalo has started out the year 4-1, with Allen putting on a show once again. So far, Allen has thrown for 1,249 yards with seven touchdowns and four interceptions through the air.
On the ground, Allen has rushed for 239 yards and eight touchdowns, showing off his dual-threat abilities. Due to this, Allen has helped the Bills win a lot of games, while also being a top-ranked fantasy football performer.
Entering Week 6 of the season, the Bills star is ranked as the top player in a fantasy ranking from Bleacher Report. Buffalo will be taking on the Las Vegas Raiders this week, giving Allen a chance to take advantage of a questionable defensive unit.
Allen was ranked as the top fantasy option in the NFL a week ago as well, showing the faith that fantasy managers have in him. The Buffalo quarterback is able to generate points in multiple ways, making him a dangerous presence throughout the season.
But fantasy isn't what drives Allen, even if his fans are excited about him helping them win fantasy games. Allen is fully focused on helping the Bills finally get over the hump to win a Super Bowl.
The Bills believe that this season could be the year for them, and this group does look the part of a contender so far. Buffalo is coming off a massive win against the Los Angeles Rams on the road, giving them even more confidence to work with going forward.
The offense for the Bills, led by Allen, has been incredible this year, with everyone playing much more freely. But the defense remains a problem, and it could be a cause of concern as the season goes on.
Allen can't do it all, but he will try to keep Buffalo going strong this week against the Raiders on the road.
