A new report claims that not only are the Buffalo Bills looking at adding another wide receiver, but they may be interested in a young pass catcher from the Green Bay Packers

The Buffalo Bills don't appear to be done trying to add to the wide receiver room.

The team has already gone out and traded for DJ Moore from the Chicago Bears this offseason. But General Manager and President of Football Operations Brandon Beane is still looking to improve.

He's confirmed talks have taken place with Brandin Cooks about a possible return, while also not shutting the door on using Buffalo's first-round pick on a receiver.

And, at least per one report, he's even looking at the trade market again.

According to 24/7 Sports' Easton Butler, the Green Bay Packers have received a number of calls from teams regarding the availability of WR Dontayvion Wicks. And one of those calls has apparently come from the Bills.

"Teams have been calling the Packers about WR Dontayvion Wicks again, Butler posted. "Some teams include the Bills, Raiders, Dolphins, and Jets. Several others are calling, but these 4 have been the most prominent."

Wicks is entering his fourth season after being selected in the fifth round out of Virginia in 2023. While never being a featured receiver in Green Bay's offense, he's been a reliable option when called upon. That said, he did see a drop in production in 2025.

As a rookie in 2023, Wicks played 15 games and had 39 catches for 581 yards and four touchdowns. He followed that up with five touchdowns on 39 catches in 2024, though his yardage fell to 415. Then, last season, he had just 30 catches on 46 targets for 332 yards and two touchdowns.

With back-to-back years of lower production, it may be a situation where Wicks is not only looking for a new opportunity, but the Packers want to get something back for a player they may not plan on re-signing.

The 24-year-old is in the final year of his rookie contract and has a cap hit of $3.75 million for the upcoming season.
