Is this too high or too low for D.J. Moore?
Buffalo Bills star D.J. Moore was ranked the 15th-best WR in the NFL by Bleacher Report's scouting department.
Moore is one spot ahead of Chris Olave of the New Orleans Saints and one spot behind Malik Nabers of the New York Giants.
The Bills acquired Moore from the Chicago Bears this offseason.
"Moore is an underrated, versatile, and athletic playmaker," Bleacher Report wrote. "The veteran receiver is an impact player with how diverse his usage has been. Moore is a good, reliable route-runner with a strong feel for leverage and spacing. He is a physical receiver before and after the catch. He powers through tackles and deploys a good stiff arm in space.
"Moore took handoffs as a traditional running back for the Bears last season and had success. His hands and ball skills are outstanding. Moore attacks the ball with the aggression that gives quarterbacks confidence to target him. He does a lot of things well and deserves to be mentioned as a tier 2 receiver in the league."
For the Bears last season, Moore had 50 catches for 682 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns. He played in all 17 games, proving once again that he's one of the most reliable players in the NFL.
Moore has played for the Carolina Panthers and Bears. He enters this season with 608 receptions, 8,213 receiving yards and 41 receiving touchdowns in the NFL.
Moore and new Bills head coach Joe Brady worked together in Carolina. Moore and Josh Allen were also in the same draft class back in 2018, so the two stars already have a relationship.
"We were in the same draft class," Allen said about Moore. "We spent a little bit of time together actually at the rookie premiere way back in the day. He's a team-first guy. He's obviously very, very talented."
The Bills have yet to reach the Super Bowl in the Allen era. Moore is Buffalo's new WR1. Allen hasn't had a talented guy like Moore since Stefon Diggs.
The 2024 MVP, Allen finished with 3,668 passing yards, 25 passing touchdowns, 579 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns last season. The Pro Bowler enters this season with 30,102 passing yards, 220 passing touchdowns, 4,721 rushing yards and 79 career rushing touchdowns.
Buffalo opens the 2026 season against the Houston Texans. Let's see if Allen and Moore connect for a TD right away.
