Do you agree with this ranking for Josh Allen?

Buffalo Bills superstar Josh Allen was ranked the second-best QB in the NFL by Bleacher Report's scouting department.

Only Los Angeles Rams star Matthew Stafford is ahead of Allen.

"A scouting category often used when evaluating quarterbacks is trucks and trailers," Bleacher Report wrote. "Every NFL franchise would prefer a truck, but there are more trailers, and trucks are rare to find. Josh Allen is one of the best 'trucks' in the NFL. He is built like a Ford F-250 with enough open-field speed and agility as a runner to extend plays and break the defense's back on key downs. Allen has elite arm talent in every sense of the word. His right arm is a weapon that can access the entire field, driving the ball into near-impossible windows and using the launch codes for deep vertical shots to his receivers. Allen is the total physical package as a quarterback, which helped him win an MVP recently. That said, he pressed at times last year, made poor decisions with the football, and turned it over. He's a franchise-changing quarterback in the conversation for best in the league."

The 2024 MVP, Allen finished with 3,668 passing yards, 25 passing touchdowns, 579 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns last season. The Pro Bowler enters this season with 30,102 passing yards, 220 passing touchdowns, 4,721 rushing yards and 79 career rushing touchdowns.

Buffalo went 12-5 last season and lost to the Denver Broncos in the Divisional Round of the 2026 playoffs. Sean McDermott was fired as head coach and Joe Brady was promoted to head coach.

"Still respecting the past and what's been here the last 10 years and not shying away from that, but also having his own twist on it," Allen said after Brady was named HC. "It's been really good to see him embrace the role and step into it. The way that he talks to the guys, you can tell he's very well respected with everybody in that locker room, and it's only going to continue to grow in my opinion."

The Bills had a great offseason. The front office acquired D.J. Moore from the Chicago Bears and signed Bradley Chubb and C.J. Gardner-Johnson in free agency.

Buffalo has yet to reach the Super Bowl in the Allen era. That has to change soon.

Otherwise, Allen will never be considered an all-time great.

It will be fascinating to see if Allen and the Bills can reach the promised land this season. Time is running out for Allen to win a championship.

After all, he's not getting any younger.

The Bills open the 2026 season against the Houston Texans.
