Buffalo Bills Roundtable Podcast Episode 14: Banged Up Bills cover image

In this week's episode of the Buffalo Bills Roundtable Podcast, Mike Straw and Anthony Moeglin look back at Bills and Jags while looking forward to the AFC Divisional game against the Denver Broncos.

The Buffalo Bills got the 33-year-old monkey of their backs last weekend, beating the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-24 for their first road playoff win since January 1993.

Despite the win, it wasn't all good news coming back from Florida.

The Bills lost three players due to injury, including two at wide receiver. Both Tyrell Shavers and Gabe Davis suffered torn ACLs on Sunday afternoon. Shavers somehow managed to play the entire second half of the game with the injury and contributed with blocks on a number of key plays.

On the other side of the ball, safety Jordan Poyer reaggravated his hamstring injury that has had him miss time in recent weeks. The injury, according to head coach Sean McDermott is week-to-week and will keep him out of this weekend's AFC Divisional round game against the Denver Broncos.

In this week's episode of the Bills Roundtable Podcast, hosts Mike Straw and Anthony Moeglin recap Buffalo's win over Jacksonville.

Plus, they talk about Josh Allen continuing to be Superman when needed after what might have been the most efficient game of his career. Also, what can the Bills do at the wide receiver position?

Right now, Buffalo has just three healthy receivers on the roster, though it's possible that Curtis Samuel could return to provide much needed depth at the position. On the defensive side of things, defensive tackle Ed Oliver is also back at practice after being placed on IR in October for a torn bicep. While it's too soon to say if he'll play this weekend (as of writing and recording), just having him back on the field in practice could provide a major boost to morale to a team that's injury report is as long as a typical grocery list.

And speaking of this weekend, it's the Bills and Broncos for just the third time ever in the playoffs, but the second year in a row. What can the Buffalo do to make sure it stays undefeated against Denver in playoffs and moves on to its second straight AFC Championship Game?

All this and more in Episode 14 of the Bills Roundtable Podcast.
